'A morning lager please barman.' = A common fizzy 4% lager. Popular because of the all day drinking it allows.

'A lady lager please barman' = Bottled beers produced for Women and homosexuals.

'A man's lager please barman' = A strong 5% lager. Not suitable for all day drinking.

'Can I have a Bailey's please, I'm off the drink for Lent'

In Ireland we ask for our beer by name or you'll probably get Harp - if that happens you'd better have the toilet paper cooling in the minibar...

Glass of beer = half =  Fisher Price Beer

A glass is a half pint of any beer. Another name for it is a Fisher Price beer (Fisher Price make children's toys so it's a beer for children) Diet drinks are diet drinks except for Coors Light which is also known as Hoor's Light  and NO guy drinks it! It's only for girls...

Nick you could go for a shandy...larger top I believe it is known as over there? Here's one ye might try  - a Black and Tan - half Guinness and half Smithwicks (ale). That's a great pint. Oh and 15% came off the drink in the Budget so it's a wee bit cheaper now...
