they clear out all the tables and cram in the boozers on match day, though maybe they changed their target market after Nick's last visit

I think so. Well Irecently deleted a text from him that said so but it was two years old.

Yeah, saw him on Gareth's facebook page the other day. Perhaps Nick could send him a message on facebook ?? (not having my own account - hijack the Mrs'). Be good to catch up with Tricky Calder (the worst drinker I've ever met  Laughing )

Was it Tricky who fell asleep when throwing in the ball for a lineout in the epic Searsons 'pub rugby' game? They don't serve food on rugby weekends but there are a number of fine chippers and one really dodgy kebab house across the road from it...it's s good spot alright. See you all up there!
Just remembered, the match is in Croke Park this year which is the other side of town to Searsons? You might want to bear that in mind for Saturday if anyone is going to the match. Corke Park is the same side of town as Jury's. You might want to look at pubs nearer to the river/city centre...

Yeah. Unfortunatly The John then dropped me on the floor and I got a nasty cut to my wrist.....Luckily there was a cute little Irish nurse there with her pals and she saw to my wound.

I'm not 100% sure but I think eating is still classed as cheating.

And this is exactly the reason why I asked Sarah to join our little forum. This inside information, although available from Google, sounds so much better with an Irish accent.

Pah!

Distance from the ground is a plus, no skulking away to the game, diverting oneself from the purpose for the trip.... Drinking.

If we do want to be closer to the ground Fagan's is a fantastic pub in that direction and a brisk morning walk from the hotel... It's also a favoured haunt of Ireland's second most corrupt son...

I vote Searsons!
